We found this unknown subject on the Hondsbossche Zeewering. This is a large dike in the
sea in the North West of the Netherlands. In the first place we didn't know what it was. So
we put it on our website and asked our visitors. Most people said that it was a root of a Yellow
Water-lily (Nuphar lutea). We still don't have a clue how it ended up in the sea. Probably it comes
from a river. We want to thank all our visitors for the help they offered for determination.
